About
Dr. Suzanne Dysart is an obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) physician who joined Boulder Women’s Care in September 2023. She sees patients in both Boulder and Erie, caring for women in every stage of life—from adolescence and pregnancy to menopause and beyond.
Dr. Dysart received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from Western University of Health Sciences COMP-Northwest, located in Lebanon, Oregon. She then completed OB/GYN residencies at Marian Regional Medical Center, in Santa Maria, California, and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she attained advanced training in gynecological robotic-assisted and laparoscopic surgery.
She also has specialized training in lifestyle medicine, prioritizing diet and movement into health care plans. Her philosophy of care is to act with kindness, compassion and respect always, and to collaborate with patients to work toward shared goals together. Dr. Dysart’s goal is for patients to feel safe and supported at all stages of life.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Dysart enjoys gardening, yoga, art, traveling and snowboarding. Before arriving in Colorado, she spent her free time volunteering in Lebanon, Oregon, preparing and serving meals for those who were experiencing homelessness, providing vaccinations for underserved populations, assisting with physical exams for uninsured migrant workers, working at the free clinic and teaching mindfulness stress reduction techniques to fourth graders.
Internationally, she has assisted at pop-up clinics in New Delhi, India, and taught English to school-age students in Maji Ya Chai, Tanzania.
