Samantha McLean, DO
About
Dr. McLean is an obstetrician and gynecologist (OB-GYN) with Boulder Women’s Care at the Boulder and Erie locations. She joined the clinic in September 2024, specializing in women’s health services and caring for patients throughout their pregnancy journey.
Dr. McLean graduated Cum Laude with her medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, MO, where she was also awarded the Glasgow-Rubin Certificate of Commendation for Academic Achievement and inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi Osteopathic Honors Fraternity.
She completed her OB-GYN residency at Overland Park Regional Medical Center, in Overland Park, KS. During this residency, Dr. McLean underwent specialty training and excelled in da Vinci® robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery, receiving the Outstanding Resident in Minimally Invasive Surgery Achievement Award when she graduated.
Dr. McLean’s philosophy of care is to treat patients with kindness and respect and to teach them about their medical condition, so they feel empowered.
Aside from compassionately delivering pre-conception, pregnancy and childbirth care, she provides the full spectrum of women’s health services — from yearly check-ups and contraceptive counseling to menopausal therapy — as well as transgender hormone replacement therapy.
Dr. McLean grew up in Colorado and attended CU Boulder for her undergraduate education. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys hiking with her dog and husband, practicing yoga, playing tennis, baking, reading, watching documentaries and playing golf.
