BCH lecture: Hysterectomy myths you should stop believing 6/5/24

  • Category: Women's Health

Despite the fact that one in three women in the U.S. will have a hysterectomy by age 60, there are still misconceptions and myths about the procedure. These myths have instilled fear and anxiety, preventing many women from making informed decisions about their health.

Board-certified gynecologist Jeremiah McNamara, MD, will address common concerns and debunk myths about hysterectomy surgery. He will then discuss how minimally invasive advancements in surgical technology, including robotic-assisted hysterectomy, has made it an excellent, safe procedure.
