Ask An Expert: What is Prevention for HIV? 12/7/22

Join the BCH PILLAR Program as we talk with the Prevention Director from the Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) to answer the question – what is HIV Prevention? We’ll discuss the basics such as difference between HIV vs. AIDS and how HIV is transmitted, the continued impact HIV is having on our community, as well as the historical stigma of HIV status in the LGBTQ+ and injection drug-using populations.
