BCH lecture: Relief for hand or wrist arthritis 6/13/24
- Category: Orthopedics
If you have arthritis in your hands or wrists, you know how much it can put a damper on life. The persistent pain and stiffness can make even simple activities — such as opening doors or tying your shoes — difficult or even impossible. Luckily there are many treatment options to make everyday tasks a little easier.
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dominik Rog, MD, who specializes in treating conditions of the hands, wrists and upper extremities, will describe the latest non-surgical and surgical treatment options for hand or wrist arthritis sufferers. He will be joined by occupational therapist, Ann Brexa, OTR/L, who will review joint protection principles, as well as exercises that can help improve range of motion and function in the hand and wrist.
