Laura Harmon, MD, FACS, is the trauma medical director & chair of the department of surgery at Boulder Community Health. Dr. Harmon brings academic expertise and a passion for trauma-informed care to our community hospital that benefits both patients and staff. With a host of new programs such as the Trauma Survivors Network, Dr. Harmon brings a new level of compassion and resilience to our trauma services team. We are proud to share that Dr. Harmon has been nationally recognized by the Schwartz Center as a 2023 National Compassion Caregiver of the Year.
