Recent agreements between Boulder Community Health (BCH) and Kaiser Permanente have given Kaiser members living in and near Boulder County expanded access to the respected physicians and leading-edge services available through BCH.
Foothills Hospital in Boulder is now part of the Kaiser hospital network, which means most Kaiser members are in-network for the expansive range of services provided at this facility. That same network arrangement gives most Kaiser members in-network status at almost all BCH facilities across the county, including the Della Cava Family Medical Pavilion in Boulder, Community Medical Center in Lafayette and Erie Medical Center in Erie.
Kaiser members also now have in-network access to the 600 primary care and specialist physicians in the Boulder Valley Care Network (BVCN). These physicians work cooperatively to help you stay healthy by providing affordable quality care that’s evidence-based, accessible, equitable, and focused on optimal outcomes. To see a directory of BVCN doctors and advanced practice providers, search participating providers here.
These benefits are now available to area residents who are members of Kaiser’s Choice PPO, Senior Advantage Choice PPO, and Senior Advantage (HMO) Medicare health plans. You can read more about these new care options, learn how to switch to a BVCN provider and find answers to FAQs and helpful resources at bch.org/kaiser.
We always recommend that you call the Member Services number listed on your Kaiser insurance card to determine if your plan is in-network for a specific BVCN physician or service at a BCH facility. Please note that BCH facilities and BVCN physicians remain out-of-network for members of Kaiser Select plans.
