American Hospital Association Elects Robert Vissers, MD to its Board of Trustees
Robert Vissers, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boulder Community Health has been elected for a 3-year term as a Trustee to the Board of the American Hospital Association (AHA). The Board of Trustees is the highest policymaking body of the AHA directing initiatives and funds. “Founded in 1898, the AHA provides education for health care leaders and is a source of information on health care issues and trends. AHA ensures that members' perspectives and needs are heard and addressed in national health policy development, legislative and regulatory debates, and judicial matters.” Learn more.
Rocky Mountain Equality 2024 Corporate Changemaker Award
Rocky Mountain Equality (RMEQ), formerly known as Out Boulder County, has awarded BCH the 2024 Corporate Changemaker Award. This prestigious honor celebrates businesses and organizations that have made extraordinary and impactful contributions to LGBTQ+ communities both locally and beyond. RMEQ states that BCH’s “dedication to fostering positive change and demonstrating leadership in efforts to advance LGBTQ+ equality is evident at every level. Sarah Meshak, Esq., Vice President and General Counsel at BCH has been recognized by the Boulder Chamber among the 2024 Women Who Light the Community.
