As part of our year-long Centennial Celebration, BCH was proud to once again be a sponsor of Boulder County’s Pride Festival, including hosting three booths during the community celebration. We had a fantastic day participating in the colorful, family-friendly celebration and meeting community members from around the county.
Thanks to our BCH staff and volunteers, we were able to offer many health and wellness services including:
Hands-only CPR class
Stop the Bleed class
Individual support for creating an advanced health care directive
Information about our mental health services
Information about our PILLAR program
Free massages and Reiki
OUT Boulder County (OBC), the organization that hosts the annual Pride Festival, is one of BCH’s partners, and we work together to educate and advocate for the health needs of the LGBTQIA+ community. OBC’s vision is that Boulder County can serve as a model of equality, respect and well-being for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer people, and we are proud to partner with them toward our own vision of partnering to create and care for the healthiest community in the nation.
