The CTK Café and Marketplace at BCH is following all COVID-19 safety measures by disinfecting all equipment and frequently touched spaces every 30 minutes.
The CTK Café and Marketplace, located at BCH’s Della Cava Family Medical Pavilion, is the latest project from Bridge House, a BCH community partner, that creates work opportunities for adults experiencing homelessness. Part of their Community Table Kitchen program, the café offers healthy, affordable, convenient café offerings for BCH employees, patients, neighbors and other guests.
Bridge House’s Community Table Kitchen program provides access to nutritious meals for low-income individuals and families while also providing jobs and job training for participants in their Ready to Work program.
The CTK Café and Marketplace is part of an expanding partnership between Bridge House, Boulder Community Health and the BCH Foundation. In 2018, BCH staff began making regular rounds at Bridge House facilities to provide medical case management to their clients experiencing homelessness through funding from the BCH Foundation’s Community Collaboration Fund. In addition, BCH has hired graduates of Bridge House’s Ready to Work program for full-time positions in the organization and BCH and the Foundation have used the CTK catering service for multiple events.
