Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer: Identifying Your Risk - Free Health Lecture
It can be scary to find out how likely you are to develop breast or ovarian cancer at some point in your life. But about 5 to 10 percent of breast and 10 to 15 percent of ovarian cancers are linked to an inherited gene mutation. Knowing more about your own hereditary risk can go a long way in helping you take steps that can prevent these cancers.
Come hear oncologist David Andorsky, MD, and genetic counselor Breanna Roscow, MS, CGC, explain the link between genetics and breast and ovarian cancers. Then learn about the newest types of genetic tests, who should be tested and what the results could mean for you and your family.
