Boulder Women’s Care welcomes Laurie Rodenberg, CNM, MSN, an experienced certified nurse midwife who is now providing holistic prenatal care and delivering babies only at Foothills Hospital.
Ms. Rodenberg offers 30 years of experience in labor and delivery and women’s health
care. She worked as a labor and delivery nurse in the Kansas City area for 24 years, then realized her dream of becoming a certified nurse midwife by earning a master’s degree in nursing with a midwifery emphasis.
Prior to joining Boulder Women’s Care in 2018, she practiced at the University of Missouri Health Care’s OB/GYN clinic and served as an adjunct professor of obstetrical nursing.
As a midwife, Ms. Rodenberg’s goal is to empower women to have the birth experience they desire, with a strong emphasis on shared decision making. She is conversant in Spanish and enjoys working with culturally diverse moms and families.
A native of Kansas City, Ms. Rodenberg has three grown children. She enjoys meditation, yoga, hiking and photography. A big fan of the Rocky Mountains, she is very excited to experience all the beauty Colorado has to offer.
Ms. Rodenberg joins the growing team at Boulder Women’s Care: OB/GYN doctors Lisa Jamroz, Kerry Shea, Brenda Price, Melissa Dunn, and Alana Revoal; certified nurse midwives Paige Swales and Kim Windels; and advanced women's health nurse practitioner Nancy Engellenner.
PLUS, more good news for pregnant moms and women of all ages in East Boulder County: Starting in mid-April, BWC's midwives and OB/GYNs will see patients at Internal Medicine Associates at Buffalo Ridge in Broomfield on Tuesdays and Thursdays, respectively. ?Learn more about our midwives and maternity services at bch.org/baby.
