BCH now has a new Emergency Department at Community Medical Center in Lafayette featuring:
- Open 24 hours a day/7 days a week
- Staffed by board-certified emergency physicians
- Full laboratory services and advanced imaging technology
The new ED includes advanced imaging capabilities and extensive laboratory services in a newly revamped facility.
This exciting expansion of our emergency services means that our community will now have expanded access to board-certified emergency medicine physicians 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The new Emergency Department is the latest progression in our ongoing commitment to offering patients the right care in the right place at the right time by increasing access to a range of medical care options.
The Urgent Care Center at CMC is closed. Our patients and staff still have access to our exceptional urgent care services at our new Urgent Care Center in Gunbarrel.
Urgent Care services at BCH will undergo a similar expansion of services over the next two years. BCH recently broke ground on a second Urgent Care Center in Superior with a third location planned for Erie in 2019.
