Kayla is an experienced Director of Events who joins the Foundation team from the Museum of Boulder, bringing over a decade of diverse experience in event management, community partnerships, and client relations. With a passion for creating memorable experiences, Kayla excels at blending creativity with strategic planning to ensure each event is not just successful but truly unforgettable. She has managed a wide range of events, from art and history exhibits to community collaborations, always striving to foster engagement and build lasting relationships.
A graduate of Colorado State University, Kayla holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Spanish. Her professional journey spans various roles in revenue management, operations, and event coordination, with a focus on developing initiatives that strengthen community ties and enhance collaboration.
Outside of work, Kayla is deeply committed to community service and volunteers regularly with local organizations. She enjoys spending her free time hiking the trails of Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, or relaxing by the water while fishing—a hobby that has inspired her goal to fish in every U.S. National Park.
