William Shaffer, MD

About

William R. Shaffer, MD is board certified in neurology and fellowship trained in multiple sclerosis (MS) from The University of Chicago. With more than 15 years of professional clinical experience, Dr. Shaffer joined the team at Associated Neurologists in July 2024. 

Previously, he served as Co-Director at UCHealth's Center for Comprehensive MS Care, as well as a neurologist and MS specialist at UCHealth's Neurology Clinic - both in Fort Collins. 

Dr. Shaffer began his neurology career at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. 

When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Shaffer enjoys all things music: playing, recording and attending shows. He also enjoys surfing and stand up paddle boarding throughout Colorado with his wife and dogs.
