Richard M. Finer, MD
About
Dr. Finer received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College
of Medicine in 1988. He then completed his radiology residency at Alton
Ochsner Medical Foundation Hospital in New Orleans in 1993.
After finishing a fellowship in body imaging, including CT/MRI/Ultrasound
at the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Finer was in private practice
in Southern California. He joined Boulder Radiologists, Inc. and Boulder
Community Hospital in 2001.
Dr. Finer is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist. He practices all
facets of radiology, with a a special interest in CT,MRI and ultrasound
along with women's imaging. He has extra experience in image-guided
biopsies and drainage procedures using CT and ultrasound.
He also performs and supervises interventional and non-interventional angiographic
procedures, including CT and MR angiography of the brain, carotids, aortic
branches, and peripheral vasculature. Dr. Finer is happy to discuss any
of these procedures with anyone interest in their applications.
Dr. Finer is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America and the
American Roentgen Ray Society.
His interests outside of work include road and mountain biking, snowboarding,
hiking, tennis and racquetball. He is married and has a son.
