Dr. Hand completed a bachelor’s degree and graduate degree in engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. A few years later she returned to school and earned her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Hand completed her family medicine residency at Swedish Medical Center in Denver.
Dr. Hand enjoys family medicine as it allows her to treat patients of all ages. She believes in supporting and empowering her patients in making the important decisions regarding their health and health care. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Hand enjoys endurance athletics, quilting, knitting and gardening.

I really like my doctor, though I do wish the appointment wasn't so delayed. However, on another instance, I was present while she had an extra long appointment with my husband because he was in crisis. I was very thankful she gave him extra time and care when he needed it. I trust she would do the same for me if I needed it.
