Dr. Laura Harmon received her medical degree from Texas Tech University in 2011 and then completed her surgical residency at Baylor Scott & White in 2016. She went on to complete fellowship training in Trauma & Surgical Critical Care at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Harmon came to Boulder Community Health on June 1, 2021, after working at R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, where she was an assistant professor. Dr. Harmon brings a passion for trauma care that ensures BCH’s multidisciplinary approach to caring for trauma patients is outstanding. She enjoys living in the foothills, gardening with her family and her latest adventure of raising bees!

Dr. Harmon & PA Brittany Hicks were absolutely fantastic. They provided the kindest, most engaged & personable medical experience I have had in years I had such an incredible experience with both of them.
