Larry Nickell, MD
About
Dr. Nickell graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005, where he was a varsity letterman and was named to the All Ivy-League Golf team. He then received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and completed Diagnostic Radiology residency and Interventional Radiology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center. At Baylor Dr. Nickell was the Chief Resident and published multiple research and review articles, including in RSNA Radiographics, and won the RSNA Roentgen Resident Research Award.
Dr. Nickell joined Colorado Springs Radiologists out of fellowship in 2016, where he practiced full spectrum interventional and general diagnostic radiology and was a partner and group Vice President. He was voted by his peers as a Colorado Springs "Top Doc" in 2020. He made the move to join Boulder Radiologists in January 2024 and is excited to be an active part of the community and hospital.
