Dr. Kathleen Monahan is a medical oncologist and hematologist. She is skilled in treating a wide variety of cancers and blood disorders, but her practice focus is on the treatment of all types of breast cancer, including hormone-positive breast cancer, HER2-positive breast cancer, triple-negative breast cancer, metastatic breast cancer and inflammatory breast cancer.

Dr. Monahan feels that a multi-disciplinary approach is essential to achieving a care plan that is comprehensive, cutting edge, and addresses the unique needs of each patient. She participates weekly in both general and disease-specific tumor boards alongside radiologists, radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists and pathologists. This collaboration is the gold standard for cancer care and ensures her patients are benefiting from the combined expertise of the group.
