Daniel Mejia, MD

About

Dr. Mejia is a board-certified family physician at Northwest Family Medicine in Superior, CO.

Dr. Meija received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern School of Medicine, Dallas, TX and completed his family medicine residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, Fort Worth, TX. Prior to joining NWFM he worked at Medical Park Family Care in Anchorage, AK.

Dr. Meija enjoys hiking and grilling with his family. He also enjoys honing his wood and leather skills, creating works of art and other objects for friends and family.

Dr. Mejia is dedicated to creating personal connections with his patients and providing continuity of care. At the center of his philosophy is to encourage active collaboration and shared decision-making with patients, families and providers to design a customized and comprehensive health care plan that is responsive to each patient’s goals, values and preferences.
