CARING HEARTS: A Support Group for the Cardiac Caregiver

  • Categories: Virtual Event, Support Group, Cardiology

About This Event

  • Event Type:Support Groups
Details: CARING HEARTS is a free monthly support group for family and friends who care for loved ones with cardiac illness. The role of caregiving is life changing. With many responsibilities, a sense of self for the caregiver can be lost, resulting in a feeling of isolation. The support group is a time for caregivers to be able to focus on themselves, their experiences and the new responsibilities they are navigating. It is also a chance to gather with people who are dealing with similar circumstances, to learn from one another and share information on available resources and to draw strength from the sense of shared experience.
