This informative class will set you up for breastfeeding success. Partners are encouraged to attend.
Class topics include breastfeeding basics, the lactation process, why skin-to-skin contact is so important, helpful routines in the hospital and at home, common concerns, and pumping.
You will learn: optimal positioning, latch, reading your baby signals, how to know your baby is getting enough, nutrition, expectations and emotional components of breastfeeding, as well as ways partners and others can connect with baby and mom.
Cost: $30 for student and a support person
Location: Class is located in the Della Cava Medical Pavilion in the 1st floor Carunter's Conference Room.
Cancellations: If you cancel your registration prior to 5 business days before class begins, your registration fee will be refunded or transferred to another class. No refunds or transfers will be given after this time.
