Jackie joined BCH in 2011. Jackie has a passion for patient safety and quality improvement and has had this focus for most of her career. She is a graduate of the American Hospital Association’s Patient Safety Leadership Fellowship and has been active in patient safety committees in Minnesota and nursing associations. She is a member of the National Patient Safety Foundation and the American Organization of Nurse Executives.

Prior to joining BCH, Jackie worked for 25 years at the Mayo Clinic in various nursing leadership positions. She graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, with a bachelor of arts degree in nursing and from Winona State University in Winona, MN, with a master of science in nursing.

Jackie lives in the Boulder area with her husband, Michael, and her sons, Josh and Sam.
